​"Dear Team Chevy;

I wish you could hear the flood of praise and superlatives pouring in about the wedding and how stunning CCC looked. For a child who spent as many hours at Chevy as she did in her own house growing up, Caroline felt that starting her new married life at CCC was incredibly important, and she was willing to wait two years to make it happen. In her heart, it wasn’t just a venue; it was half of her childhood, and she was eager to share that with her friends. Well, it’s easy to say the club did not disappoint!
 
My first moments after I drove up from Florida were met with the warmest welcome from Michael Agee (I think he was as excited about the weekend as I was), who insisted on helping me unload my car and get me settled into Bradley House — what an incredibly kind man and perfect “first face” of CCC! Bradley House itself is such an amazing resource, and having all of it to ourselves was such a treat for us. Since we no longer have a home in the area, it truly became our home for the weekend and provided an elegant basecamp to host all of Caroline’s friends.
 
Thursday’s tennis and pizza dinner on the lawn, hosted by the LaRochelles, was relaxed perfection — how you pulled that off after that storm, I don’t know, but it was a huge hit. We ended up with the most spectacular sunset, and since everyone else had gone home, the club grounds were all ours. And then the wedding reception — there are almost no adequate words. The ballroom brought tears to my eyes, the food was delicious, the lawn was lush and rich, and you even handled the medical emergency like pros. Having use of the living room and sunroom for the afterparty was spectacular — not having to move to another venue truly allowed the party to continue in a way it would not have had we been forced to move.  I was shocked and impressed by the number of our older friends who stayed for ice cream and enjoyed the photo booth alongside the kids, all made possible by being able to stay on campus.   The club stands proudly alongside any of your peers — you do what you do with incredible elegance. The amount of threads and details woven into the weekend truly amazed me. Discussing a concept is one thing, but seeing it come to life is entirely different — it took the talent of your team to help execute that vision. Thank you for trusting Pineapple Productions and Amaryllis to do exactly what they do best — the results were phenomenal, and they make Chevy shine in a way few can. If anything went wrong, I am blissfully unaware.

Someone asked if I was glad it was over, and I said I’d do it all again tomorrow!  Thank you again for everything — we are all still floating. What you created was not just a day; it was a memory we will all cherish forever."
