17 YEARS, ANTONIO "SKITTLES" SETTLES

Antonio’s journey at the Club began as a teenager, when a family friend referred him for a summer position in the Pool Canteen. What started as a seasonal role soon grew into something more. A few years later, he transitioned to year-round work in the Banquet kitchen, eventually finding his home at the Winter Center, where he has been a valued member of the team for more than a decade.

Over the years, Antonio has become one of the most versatile cooks in the Winter Center. Whether working a morning shift or jumping into any station during a busy evening service, he brings consistency, skill, and a strong work ethic to everything he does. His flexibility and willingness to support his teammates make him an essential part of the operation.

Antonio’s passion for cooking is rooted in creativity. He approaches his work with an artistic mindset, often saying that “everything is art,” a perspective that continues to inspire him in the kitchen each day. That creativity extends beyond his culinary talents. In his free time, Antonio is an accomplished artist who has been drawing since the age of six. He particularly enjoys sketching people, though his work also includes animals, vehicles, and buildings. He has even created commissioned pieces for several coworkers, sharing his talent in a meaningful and personal way.

We are proud to celebrate Antonio and his 17 years of dedication, creativity, and commitment to the Club.

The success of the 9-Holers Opening Day was a wonderful example of what can be accomplished when multiple departments come together to create an exceptional member experience. We received tremendous positive feedback from members who appreciated every detail of the day — from Golf Operations and the Caddie Program to course conditions, communications, décor, Food & Beverage, and event coordination.
Thank you to everyone involved for the teamwork, professionalism, and hospitality that made the event such a memorable success for our members.
