CELEBRATING 27 YEARS WITH ADILSON VENTURA
As the Director of Racquet Facilities, Adilson is the driving force behind the pristine conditions of the Club’s courts. His love for his job stems from the learning experiences it has brought him. Adilson has seen the Club grow to allow new racquet sports, specifically pickleball and platform tennis, each introducing fresh challenges and opportunities.

When reflecting upon his time, Adilson shared that one memory in particular stands out to him: spending two nights at the Club during a snowstorm to continue maintenance. While others may see this as a burden, Adilson recalls it as a great experience. This anecdote underscores his remarkable work ethic, as does his unwavering commitment throughout the year.

Adilson takes pride in watching members enjoy the stellar conditions he provides daily. For him, the gratitude he receives is what makes his job so rewarding and continues to motivate him after 27 years.

EMPLOYEE MUSICIAN SPOTLIGHT: CYRUS KUESTER-HA
Cyrus’ musical journey began early, having played piano since a young age. After discovering the double bass at an arts camp in Michigan, he found his niche and began seriously considering a future in music. Today, he’s pursuing that path professionally as a student at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.

At Chevy Chase Club, Cyrus has inspired our community in more ways than one. He plays double bass at various events, helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere through his performances. He also serves as a Camp Chevy counselor, where his leadership, dedication, and enthusiasm make him a trusted role model to our campers. His time here has allowed him to balance his professional growth with his pursuit of passion. We’re proud to be part of a community that celebrates talent and supports Cyrus as his impact continues to leave a lasting mark.
